And if someone is looking for something really delicate, a chamomile will hit the nail on the head. It has a subtle taste and helps to calm not only the stomach, but also the whole body. It is great for an evening tea – especially if the day was intense.

    For stress and a good night’s sleep

    Some people reach for a glass of wine in the evening, others prefer a warm, herbal infusion that soothes the nerves and helps to fall asleep. And this is where lemon balm comes into the picture – probably the most well-known tea for stress. Its slightly citrus aroma relaxes and makes it easier to distance yourself from everyday matters. However, if lemon balm is not enough for you, it is worth trying lavender. Its flowers have a pleasant, slightly sweet scent and have an extremely relaxing effect – they literally allow you to float away into a state of deep peace.

    Another option is hops, which are mainly associated with beer, but in the tea version it helps to calm your thoughts and make it easier to fall asleep. What’s more, drinking herbs regularly can have a positive effect on concentration. If you want your mind to work better during the day, it’s worth trying ginseng or rosemary infusions, which can have a stimulating effect and support cognitive abilities.

    For immunity and bad days

    In autumn and winter, when the cold season is in full swing, many people reach for natural support for immunity. Here, wild rose teas, rich in vitamin C, or rockrose, which has been a hit among lovers of natural ways to health for several years, work great. Drinking rockrose regularly not only strengthens the body, but also has antioxidant effects, i.e. support in the fight against free radicals. If it’s cold outside and your throat starts to itch, it’s worth choosing ginger. This is a real hit among warming infusions – spicy, intense in taste and extremely effective. Just add some lemon and honey to it to create a homemade “elixir” for the cold. Linden is also great in such situations – it works to sweat and supports the body in the natural regeneration process.

    How to introduce herbal teas into your daily routine?

    You don’t have to give up coffee or traditional tea to include herbal infusions in your diet. Just start with one cup a day – in the morning, if you need support for your digestive system, or in the evening, when relaxation and a good night’s sleep are important. You can also play with the taste, adding honey, lemon juice or even a pinch of cinnamon to your tea. Such small modifications make drinking herbs every day a pleasant ritual, not just a healthy habit.

    Some blends work great as cold drinks. In the summer, you can brew your favorite herbal tea, cool it down and add ice cubes, mint leaves and a little honey. This is a great alternative to sweetened drinks, which both quenches your thirst and provides valuable nutrients.

    Importantly, it is worth choosing teas from organic farming – without artificial additives and unnecessary preservatives. High-quality ingredients mean not only a better taste, but also a greater amount of valuable nutrients.
